Vufolio, Inc. ("we", "us", "our") operates the Vufolio platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information about you when you use our Service. Questions? Reach us at privacy@vufolio.com.
2. Information we collect
Account information. When you sign up we collect your email address, username, and any profile details you choose to provide (display name, bio, avatar).
Content you post. Photos, videos, captions, comments, and other material you submit to the Service.
Usage data. Log data including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. We use this to operate and improve the Service.
Device information. Device type, operating system, and unique identifiers when you access Vufolio from a mobile device or browser.
3. How we use your information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
- To personalise your feed and suggested connections.
- To send transactional emails (password reset, security alerts).
- To enforce our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
4. Sharing your information
We share your information only in these circumstances:
- Service providers. Trusted vendors who help operate the Service (e.g. cloud hosting, authentication, email delivery) under strict data-processing agreements.
- Legal requirements. When required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users or the public.
- Business transfers. In the event of a merger or acquisition, your data may be transferred to the successor entity, subject to this Policy.
5. Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. After account deletion, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or legitimate business interest (e.g. fraud prevention records).

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export the personal data we hold about you. You may also object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@vufolio.com. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. All data in transit is encrypted using TLS. However, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
Vufolio is not directed at children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will delete that information promptly.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes by email or in-app notice. The effective date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
